Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection Anime's New Promo Video Posted

Bandai Namco Arts began streaming a new promotional video for the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection(Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch) sequel anime film on Wednesday. The video features the ending theme song "Revive" by Unione.
The film's new characters and cast members include:
  1. Ayumu Murase as Shario
  2. Nobunaga Shimazaki as Shesutaaru
  3. Wataru Takagi as Bituru
  4. Keiko Toda as Shamuna
  5. Akio Ohtsuka as Fōgunaa
  6. Kenjiro Tsuda as Kujapatto
Leo Ieiri performs the opening theme song "Kono Sekai de" (In This World). In addition, Ali Project performs the insert song "Utsukushiki Kemonotachi no Tame no" (For the Beautiful Creatures).
The story begins in the world one year after Zero Requiem.
Director Goro Taniguchi confirmed that many of the key staff members returned for the movie, and specifically emphasized that the story is complete in one film, which serves as a finale. The film opened last Saturday in 120 theaters in Japan., and it ranked #5 and earned 286.65 million yen (about US$2.59 million) from Friday to Sunday. Funimation will screen the film in North America on May 5 (subtitled), and on May 7-8 (dubbed).

The first film in the series' compilation recap trilogy, Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Kōdō (lit.: The Awakening Path, official English subtitle: Initiation), opened in Japan in October 2017. The second film, Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Handō (lit.: The Rebellion Path, official English subtitle: Transgression), oary pened in Japan in Febru2018. The  - Hthird film, Code Geassangyaku no Lelouch - Ōdō (lit.: The Imperial Path, official English subtitle: Glorification), opened last May. Funimation has licensed the trilogy.
The original Code Geass television series premiered in 2006, followed by a sequel series in 2008. The series has inspired various manga and original video anime, including the Code Geass: Akito the Exiled spinoff, which premiered in 2012.
